Cold Weather Hurts Florida Fish

The recent cold spell that hit the State of Florida has had a major impact on the saltwater fish that we all love to chase in the Sunshine State.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission has banned fishing for snook until September 1st and bonefish and tarpon until April 1st. Plan your saltwater trips accordingly.

Our hearts go out to all the guides and other industries in the area that depend on the fish for their livings. Let us all hope that things can turn around quickly for both the fish and the people that depend on them.
