South Fork of the Snake River
We fish 5 sections of this great river in Idaho from Palisades dam to the confluence of the Henry's Fork. Each stretch is different. They all hold lunker trout. And they all produce those over 100 fish days during the season.

On the upper stretches of the meadow and willow lined Teton River in Idaho, one becomes entranced by it's splendors. The Canyon of the Teton holds three different floats. These are not to be missed. This is surely, one of the great spring creeks of the world. Flowing through the magnificent valley of the Teton's, it breeds life into the entire countryside.
Each year, the 'Fork' in Idaho is the first major river in the region to clear up from run-off. Each year the 'Fork' also produces the largest trophy rainbows on dry flies. The world's heaviest hatch of giant salmon flies comes off in late May, just as the fishing season opens on May 24th. From late May until late June, is the absolutely perfect time to catch monster rainbows and browns on size 4 dry flies.
Starting September 1, Teton Valley Lodge offers some of the finest Ruffed
Grouse hunting in the world. Your guide and a sharp English Setter will
head up the mountain canyons surrounding the Lodge for what is arguably
the most challenging shooting in the sport of bird hunting. Grouse are
plentiful in the classic cover of the Big Hole Mountains, flushing 20-30 birds a
day is common. The
fall colors are magnificent and the fresh mountain air is an experience in itself.
We recommend 20 gauge shotguns and a #8 light load for all gauges.
