I just want to thank you again for all of your, Matt’s, Brian’s and everyone’s help and support for the Blue Ridge meeting. The fishing was great and all of you were great. Outstanding day I was put on dozens of fish! The South Fork truly is one of tthe best fly fishing waters one could experience. My guide worked hard to make sure he was meeting my needs. You and your team have out done yourselves again

I would like to say “WOW!” My son Andrew and I had a marvelous time again this year and the fishing was simply awesome. I would like to commend our guide, Jonathan Murray, on his knowledge, candor, and help in making our trip one of the best ever. On Friday, Jonathan found a spot on the Snake and told us “The fishing is just going to be ridiculous boys!” and he was right on the money. We finally stopped counting between 40-50 trout caught and at least ½ that many lost. We finally got back to Jackson about 10 worn out, but marveling at the day we had. Please thank Jonathan again for Andrew and I and thank all of you for the tremendous time.
The pictures show Jonathan holding a trout, which he did all day long; Andrew solidly snagging another one; and one of Jonathan and me after landing a great fish-we have several “fish” stories to tell back at the office.
We had a ball!!!!

Thanks for being there for two of my most memorable days on the water this summer—and for two entirely different reasons!
We didn’t get many fish, but I will tell (and retell) the story of spending a day on the water with you and Brian in the second week of June. Snow, sleet, rain, hail and a little sunshine to end the day! Tough fishing conditions; but fortunately I was able to return in July and boy what a difference a few weeks made!
I will never forget the day spent with you on the Middle Narrows! Forty-four fish before stopping for lunch and seventy by the end of the day!! What an unbelievable experience!
I have committed to my Dad that I’ll bring him back in July next year. If the Narrows are fishing anywhere close to the way they did this summer, he will be beside himself!
I have attached a picture of the cutty I took off the Snake on my first day fishing in July. My Indiana buddies are amazed with your “standard” Idaho trout!

I just wanted to thank your family and staff for such an amazing experience I had at the Teton Valley Lodge this past week, Wednesday 22nd Thru Saturday 25th, with the Sysco Food Service group! My name is Dave Felix and had the pleasure of winning this wonderful trip…I can’t tell you how much it meant to me with all the care, attention, service and family feeling you all put into our stay. My position at Sysco is a sales rep who prides myself on taking care of my clients just like you did for us…the lodge was top notch! and the fishing was even better! I really needed the time away to relax and charge my batteries again, and the great outdoors you call home in Idaho really did the trick…I didn’t want to leave:) the beauty and stillness was one of the best trips I have gone on with Sysco…and I have been on a lot during my 11 years, this one was the BEST!
I look forward to returning next year and can’t wait to visit your incredible lodge once again. The pride you take in everything you do stands alone! Again, it really was the best!!!!!

I want to write and thank you for the fabulous weekend I recently spent at your lodge. The service was excellent and the facility superb. I would particularly like commend your guides, Buck Leonard and David Wells. Short of jumping out of the boat, clubbing the fish, and putting a hook in the fish’s mouth, these two gentlemen were superhuman in their efforts at helping this novice fisherman catch a fish. I now am completely ‘hooked’ on fly fishing; I’ve never done anything so completely relaxing and wonderful. Thank you.
This of course, lends itself to a series of problems. I now realize that the working life gets in the way of fishing. Needless to say, my wife is not pleased. She continually mutters ”I’ve worked too hard to put up with this crap..’ She now has unmitigated proof that I’m a worthless provider. Therefore, despite my protest, she has forced me to submit a bill for lost services. As per California marital code, it represents her portion of my presumed future earnings for the next twenty years, now seeming lost to my fishing obsession. Although an inconvenience, I’m sure that this is not an unfamiliar condition to you, and that you carry the appropriate liability insurance. Once again thank you and your staff.

Bob Hanke and I have been coming to your lodge for something like 25 years. We’ve always had excellent fishing results and have never had a bad trip. However, the trip we had this year to the Henry’s Fork, specifically Bear Gulch, has got to be the best fishing day I have ever had, and I think Bob agrees.
I’ve fished New Zealand, Alaska, British Columbia, Oregon, many of the western rivers in California, and our day on the Bear Gulch stretch has got to be rated as Number 1. I’ve never written you before telling you how enjoyable your lodge, the various river stretches, the food, and the wonderful guides are, so thought I would finally do that after 25 years of total enjoyment at your beautiful Teton Lodge. Roy and Ford also had a great time and we all agreed that this was probably ranked as the best – it certainly did in my case.
I’m hoping to bring my three sons next salmon fly hatch. I’m sure Bob, Roy, etc. will also be there. John, I’ll never forget standing by you and catching 14 big trout out of the same hole on the Bear Gulch stretch. I also have it etched in my brain – your admonition to “strike hard”, which I will not easily forget.

We were all impressed by the quality of your guides. We have never experienced a group of individuals so committed to making our visit the most it could be for us. They were great instructors, coaches and guides. For that, you have our great appreciation and admiration. In one of your brochures it was indicated that you select people of high moral standards. That was evident throughout our stay. It was great not to worry how to deal with a guide nobody wanted to spend time with on the river. In every case, every day all of us had a great guide.

I have just returned from a trip to your lodge. Having never fly fished before, I was a bit leary of it, but I am happy to report that you guys have made a lifetime enthusiast out of me. Me and my two sisters and father enjoyed the daily trips on the river and the fishing turned out to be one of the best family outings our family has encountered.
