Guests will fly to Buenos Aires International Airport and spend the night in the wonderful city. Flights normally arrive in the morning, leaving a full day of city exploration, The following morning, guests then leave from the Buenos Aires domestic by the entire staff, upon arrival.
Kau Tapen contains 10 en-suite single rooms with some containing a single king, a single queen, or two doubles. The Lodge’s large living room has expansive views of the Rio Menendez and the Rio Grande Valley. Each wing of the Lodge has its own wading room for gear storage. Guests can take full advantage of the spa, jacuzzi, sauna and finish steam bath.
Kau Tapen’s season runs from January – April. The first season browns start entering the Rio Grande river system as early as late November. By January, fresh sea run browns are pouring into Kau Tapen’s beats. This early season offers spectacular chances of catching large chrome fish straight from the Atlantic. As the season progresses Kau Tapen’s beats fill with fish and you can be confident that every cast your fly is swinging over numerous fish.
